Jump!

Jump!

Having lunch one day in Hyde Park when I saw “Toothy Dancer” getting up and dancing to a busker like nobody’s watching for a good 30 minutes or so. He was having an absolute blast and it didn’t matter whether or not there were people walking past poking fun at how he was dancing or that he was singing along to some of the tunes. He looked happier than everyone else around him. πŸ™‚ Β (edit: I’ve uploaded a video of him in action to YouTube – see it here) (edit #2: I’ve since learned there was a documentary made about this Gentleman, and his name is Raymond. Such an inspirational guy, full of life and bringing joy to people – see it here! – credit to Peet for telling me about Raymond!)

Bit shitty about missing the focus of the girl jumping in the last photo but what can you do? I’ll try to be better prepared next time!

    • Of course toemailer! Second photo was shot at Manly Beach, Australia, and the last picture was shot at Bondi Beach, Australia πŸ™‚

      • They are posted now, along with the one of the dancer. Thanks again, it’s always very much appreciated! πŸ™‚

  1. Saw it on toemailer- the couple making coffee/tea is so universally appealing- the could also be South African brewing up a coffee roadside… Nice photos!

    • Thank you for the kind words! Yes it’s great that they’re able to take their coffee (and breakfast) shop with them wherever they travel!

  2. Nice shots. Did you know your toothy dancer was the subject of a 2nd prize winning short film at “Tropfest” in Sydney earlier this year in 2013? His name is Raymond Borzelli and the film maker was coincidently called Nicholas (Clifford). Here is a link to see the award winning film.

It will take a heart-warming 7 minutes of your life. regards Peet

    • Peet,

Had no idea about Raymond – thanks for sharing the documentary – I will update the post and direct visitors there. What a great guy – so full of life and bringing such joy to others, simply amazing!
